MS Dhoni to retire from TEST Cricket by 2013 [shocking/breaking news from PERTH]

MS Dhoni is not sure if he will play the next edition in 2015 and may have to quit one format namely Tests.”If I have to see through the 2015 (World Cup), I would have to retire from one of the formats,” Dhoni said. Dhoni, who has played in 66 Tests so far and won 17 of the 36 matches in which he has skippered, almost casually mentioned it which took everyone by surprise at the press conference on the eve of the third Test against Australia. This disclosure by Dhoni seems to convey what he feels about his future in the game if read together with what he had said earlier that he will decide by 2013 whether to play in 2015 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. Last month, Dhoni had said that he wasn’t sure where he would stand after two years. “If you see 2015, still three, three and a half years to go. I don’t really know where I will stand. Everything needs to go off well, and then by close to 2013, I will have to take a call whether I can really 100 per cent be available for the 2015 World Cup,” Dhoni had said. On the eve of the third Test against Australia, Dhoni was asked by the media to clarify his stance. “What I really meant by that was that by 2013 I will have to see whether I can stay on till 2015 World Cup. It’s too early to comment if I will survive till the next World Cup,” Dhoni clarified. “Of course form is a big factor but also what I need to say is that all of a sudden in 2014 if I feel I can’t survive the 2015 World Cup and there comes a new wicketkeeper
