In the match played in front of about 30000 spectators in the 15th week of the Iran Professional League, Hawar Mulla Mohammed gave Persepolis a lead in the 12th minute with a spectacular free kick. Mohammad Gholami equalized the match in the 30th minute. He received a long ball from Steel Azins captain Ali Karimi in the space between Persepolis defenders and opened the goal. Karimi also set up the winning goal in the injury time. He sent a free kick on Persepolis goal line and Afshin Chavoshi took advantage of goal keeper Alireza Haghighis blunder and headed the ball into the goal. Ali Karimi was sent off by referee Masoud Moradi after protesting to his judgment in awarding a free kick outside the penalty box to the rival team in the added time. Quite disgracefully, ex-cricketer & still legend, Shane Warne has felt the need to defend his new image after mounting speculation that he ‘cosmetically enhanced’ his appearance. The Australian sportsman laughed off suggestions his new girlfriend, actress and model Elizabeth Hurley, encouraged him to make some radical changes. But he revealed the “radiant glow” of love might have something to do with it. Speaking to 3AW radio station in his home city of Melbourne, the 42-year-old said he was displeased by the claims about him. “I’ve seen media reports saying I’ve changed and I’ve had plastic surgery and all these different things, which has been really disappointing. I think suddenly people see you with Elizabeth Hurley, they see you mixing with some of her friends… they suddenly think, ‘Where’s this Aussie guy who had a pie and a beer?’ I still do that.” Shane went on to insist to the show’s host Neil Mitchell: “I’ve never even had a consultation with a plastic surgeon. If I wanted to have one, I’d have no shame in saying, ‘Well, I’ve been and had a look,’ if I wanted to change it.
