*CHOKE* Sachin Tendulkar caught Whitney bowled “part-timers” in successive finals
In the finals of the 1991/92 World Series Cup in both finals the great Sachin Tendulkar was caught by Michael Whitney from part-time bowlers. Tom Moody in the 1st Final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Steve Waugh in the 2nd Final at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Australia won both Finals.

Ricky Ponting and Sachin Tendulkar are once again leding face of their team. Sachin Tendulkar is eyeing for his 100th ton to come while Ricky Ponting will be looking to gain some form. According to statistics there is a huge difference in their performance in last 12 months. Sachin has scored 670 runs at an average of 41.87 runs in 9 matches and Ricky Ponting has scored just 323 runs in 7 matches with an average of 24.84 runs.

Sachin Tendulkar has been stuck on 99 International centuries since March and despite coming close on a fair few occasions he has yet to score that elusive 100th ton. Now all of India hopes that he can recapture his best form when he takes to the field in Melbourne.
